Changes to the ME PMP Submission ScheduleProposed rule changes to the Maine PMP legislation will increase the frequency of submissions from a twice monthly submission schedule to a weekly submission schedule. The new schedule will require pharmacies to provide data within seven (7) days of the controlled substance being dispensed. The change to the ME PMP submission schedule will result in a more current Patient History Report being available to Prescribers/Dispensers. Changes to the ME PMP Submission FormatIn the near future, the Maine PMP will be changing the submission format from the current format to the ASAP2007 format. More information regarding this change will be forthcoming. The change in submission format will not take place until early 2010.
